During the years, Ms. Ip had participated in numerous of open tournaments and had won countless trophies to add to her collection. With one giving her a 3rd place ranking in Hong Kong 1997.
In the year 2000, Ms. Ip had made a very emotional announcement, her retirement. At the same time, Ms.Ip had realized to completely fulfill her passion in dancing, she must pass along her skills, philosophy and knowledge to the next generation or anyone who is interested in dancing. Her open mind, willingness to share and passions had not only won her character but had created a legendary dancing school in Hong Kong which leads the industry into a new era.
Ms. Ip's teaching and philosophy in dancing had sparked up many children's interest and began classes at her studio. Many adults had also show great interest and had found their new interest in life via Ms.Ip dancing studio. Even Charles K. Kao ( the 2009 Nobel prize winner) had been a big fan and a great student in ballroom dancing of Ms.Ip.
